It's much quieter now.
Mama's voice could be pretty loud when she was at home. The YouTube videos she would watch would also be playing loudly in the background. Usually in the morning, she would already be on her tablet and watching YouTube.
She would let us hear all of her comments. Sometimes no one would be around anymore—we would already be in our rooms, went downstairs, went into the bathroom—but you would still hear Mama talking.

Yes, Mama definitely enjoyed watching YouTube either on her tablet or on TV via Chromecast. I guess part of the reason is because we got rid of cable TV around 2018 and TFC in 2020.
She subscribed to a whopping 639 channels, many of them Filipino vloggers or Filipino news providers. I was happy to see that she and I subscribe to a handful of the same YouTubers, such as ice1cube and Food Star.
Mama hit the "personalized" notification bell for a number of subscriptions, but reserved "all" notifications for only 26. Those channels are linked on the right.
Mama hit the "like" button on 2,771 videos.
On May 21, 2021, I helped her set up a username (Pobreng Chismosa). She was quite opinionated and enjoyed leaving comments on videos.

Mama said she liked and subscribed in order to help and support the YouTubers. Before we started using YouTube Premium, she said she never skipped the ads to help contribute to their earnings. Most YouTubers will encourage you to like and subscribe—that's what she did.
